I am a full-time professional Artist from India.

I completed MA Painting from Coventry University, England 

I have pursued BVA Painting (Bachelor of Visual Arts) from  The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Painting is a way to express the gratitude for everything that nature has gifted us. It is one of the arts that connects me to the sublimity of nature, the mysterious beauty that surrounds us.

​

Indian landscapes forms the basis of  my paintings. The Beas River in Himachal Pradesh, the seashore in Mumbai, the Kaveri River in Bilimora and many other places have been captured in the work, with composition mainly coming from memory and visuals collected during my stay in India. Specific characters and objects are added in the painting which express relative memories and feelings.

The substance of my MA degree in England has allowed me to demonstrate how cultures can intermingle with each other in nature. For instance, my painting depicting the beauty of seasons enhanced by the mingling of both English and Indian cultures. This enhancement was demonstrated by colour, form and visualisation. The light and season that changes the colour and form of nature fascinate me.

The composition of my paintings includes wide range of subjects such as landscapes, human figures, animals, Still Life, Architecture and interior spaces and cityscapes. I have worked on a small  size artworks to  a massive  7 feet scale. 

​

My artworks are aesthetically pleasing and enrich with various colours and stylistic forms. I am influenced from traditional as well as the contemporary abstract style of art.
